We are pleased to announce that we can now carry out Marine Stewardship Council Chain of Custody audits in the UK and Ireland.
These are done by Micron2 in partnership with the Swiss certification body:
Ecocert IMOswiss AG
Importantly they can be done in conjunction with a BRCGS Audit or as a stand-alone audit.
Ecocert IMOswiss AG is part of the ECOCERT Group based in France and has many years of experience in high quality services for seafood standards.
For details about MSC Certification please look at our working partner’s website at http://www.ecocert-imo.ch (direct link to: http://www.ecocert-imo.ch/logicio/pmws/indexDOM.php?client_id=imo&page_id=msc&lang_iso639=en)
Otherwise please contact us at info@micron2
We had an excellent meeting with all our food safety auditors, including our UK BRC auditors and the rest of the BRC Certification team this month. This one was held at Fordhall Farm in Market Drayton, our local, famous organic farm. They provided all the food which was lovely of course.
Thanks to this very long-standing client for reminding us how long we have been doing audits against what is now the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety.
This was of course even before anyone was accredited. We were among the first group of companies to be accredited by UKAS when all those CBs involved were accredited on the same day in 2000.
Well done to Pittas Foods also, for maintaining their certification for all this time.
James and Leo chaired our recent meeting with our colleagues in Greece in December. The meeting was held at the offices of TUV Austria-Hellas. Obviously with the new issue of the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety plus a few other things there was much to discuss.
Even so J & L, you obviously kept them smiling.
Issue 8 Training
Due to demand we have added another date for the one day BRC Food conversion from Issue 7 to 8.
We have 2 courses running in Market Drayton in November now on 26th and 27th November
Please see the Training tab at the top of the page for details.
