BRCGS Food Safety Auditor
Due to growth of the scheme, we require an experienced Auditor to join us and carry out audits against the BRCGS Standards within the UK. Necessary training can be provided for the successful candidates.
Essential Requirements are:
- A degree in a food science related, bioscience or a science and engineering discipline
- 5+ years of professional experience related to the food industry engaging with functions such as quality assurance /technical management at managerial level
- 2-day HACCP training course.
- Recognised Lead Auditor qualification
- Track record of considerable auditing experience
- Well-versed and demonstrable experience of a wide range of products
- Demonstrable competence with normal office software systems and familiarity with video communications, e.g. Zoom, Teams.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills including maintenance of positive client rapport.
- Current Driving Licence.
Main Responsibilities
- Self management and booking audit date with client on given allocations. Includes providing audit plan to client, necessary pre-audit preparations and travel arrangements e.g. booking accommodation where necessary according to company policy.
- Responsible conducting certification audits to determine compliance in accordance with both the audit protocol.
- Communication with head office including any pre-audit communication and submission of Non-Conformity reports soon after audits and ensure alignment of Micron2 administration protocol
- Writing and submission of audit reports to head office for review including the review of corrective actions within established timelines.
- Attendance for required training including mandatory calibration meetings.
